Construction:304 Stainless Steel tube, thin walled, welded seam, formed into an annular convoluted shape.

Temperature: -49° C to +150° C Continuous
(Limites by the "O"Ring Material")

Application:Water systems (hot or cold), compressed air, power steering return lines, breather and vent lines, fuel system suction and return lines, fuel sytem pressure lines (Rec. 100 PSI Max), oil system suction and return lines.
Not recommended for engine oil pressure lines as these are prone to high pressure spikes.)

FORMLINE ADVANTAGES:
• 50% Average saving over 100 series braided hose.
• Total fire resistance.
• Easy to route through tight areas.
• Easy to fit connections whicj are totally re-usable.
• Fittings save on weight as they are about equivalent in weight to the normal adaptor only.
• No special cutting method required, just use a normal wheel type tube cutter.
• Formline tube is compatable with all known substances used in motorsport.
• Formline fittings are Hard Anodized to prevent cavitation erosion form methanol and salt water.
• Formline dissipates heat as it is not an insulator material such as rubber, Teflon® ,Nomex® , etc. The heat dissipation is assisted by the thin wall and increased surface area created by the convolutions. (Teflon® Nomex® are registered Trademarks of DuPont)
• Tube is fully supported by "O" rings which lock the tube into the fitting, providing the seal and also eliminating vibration stredd where it is held. This gives superior vibration resistance over normal hard line systems.
• Holds its formed shape to give very tidy look to your installation.
• No tube benders required, just bend it in your hands.

NOTES:
• Not to be used in dynamic applications where tube may be constantly bending. IE: From chassis to rubber mounted engine assemblies, suspension, etc.
• Formline has no torsional movement, although the fitting which suspend the tube can absorb some movement, this type of loading should be avoided.
• Formline tube has a dgree of flexibility before it bends, movement within this range is OK.
